Coed Ultimate Frisbee Summer Camp

Camp Description
Learn to play one of the fastest growing and most exciting sports in the world: Ultimate Frisbee - a sport that is self-officiated and combines the most exciting elements of soccer and football but without the contact! Kids entering grades 4-9 are welcome to join us for this week-long camp to help campers of all levels develop their skills. The camp will include a combination of personalized one-on-one instruction, group drills, team-building games, and supervised scrimmages with a focus on inclusion and fun! You'll walk away from this camp knowing how to throw a Frisbee in ways you never thought possible.窶

The Details
This camp will run in one session: July 22 - 26, 2020 from 9:00am-3:00pm daily.

The cost of a 5-day session of this camp is $415. This camp is open to kids entering grades 4 through 9 in August 2020. Each camper will receive a t-shirt, water bottle, and drawstring backpack. Lunch is available for an additional fee (click here for details). Extended care is also available for an additional fee (click here for details).

The Coaches
Coach Alexander Morris: Coach Alexander "Zander" Morris has been playing ultimate since 2010. He plays for the San Jose Spiders and is a member of the UC Berkeley Ultimate coaching staff. He enjoys sharing the sport of ultimate with players of all ages, and helping students discover and grow their individual abilities in a team environment.

Sample Daily Schedule:
  • 8:30 - 8:50 am Campers arrive at the location of their sports
  • 9:00 am Dynamic warm-up
  • 9:10 am Technical skill isolation stations
  • 10:00 am Technical skill integration stations
  • 11:00 am Cross training: Swimming, capture-the-flag, dodge ball, relays, etc.
  • 12:00 pm Lunch
  • 1:00 pm Tactical skill development
  • 2:00 pm Competition/Scrimmaging
  • 3:00 pm Dismiss/Parents pick-up campers
