Junior Counselor Summer Program

Register on ActivityHero
Camp Description
Junior Counselors ("JCs") will assist primarily in the Multi-Sport Camp. Duties include setting up the games, helping coach the games, and participating appropriately.

They will also get a chance to help with our camp operations which includes serving lunch, managing inventories of supplies, filling water coolers, etc. Finally, they will shadow our leadership team to get an idea of what it takes to run Spartans Sports Camp. At the end of the week, JCs will have a good grasp of all of the positions within Spartans Sports Camp.

This is a great opportunity for Junior Counselors to gain valuable leadership experience.

Some may ask about the reason for the fee for this program. The fee allows us to hire staff to support the JC program so all JCs will have the guidance to be successful. Our goal is to develop future camp staff and we hope that each and every JC will apply for a paid position in the future.

There will be very limited space in this program to ensure the best experience for each Junior Counselor.

If extended care is desired, it will be provided at no additional charge to JC's.
